Fresh fruit stand serving coconuts, pears, rambutanes, etc.

Not many places can you buy "rambutanes" (spiky fruit with a sweet, jelly-like center) and machetes in a marketplace!

Eating at a local Guatemalan restaurant: "La Fonda de la Calle Real":

Later on, we attended a mass in the church -- very different from the US! The tempo of the music is much more up-beat and lively. Listening to the service in Spanish was also very interesting.

UWe have arrived in Antigua Guatemala!

We went to visit Christpher's new restaurant and enjoyed fresh fruit "batidos". We are looking forward to meeting the rest of the group in a week!
